Laban joined Relish in 2023 as a Solution Consultant.  Now that he has been with Relish for a while, we have a few questions for him!

Q. What is the proper pronunciation of your name?

A. My name is pronounced “Lay-bin”, with an emphasis on the first syllable.

Q. Why did you decide to join the Relish team?

A. The passion of everybody that I have met, is infectious. Everybody is excited to come to work each day and it was clear that there was enthusiasm for the company from the beginning.

Q. What is the most interesting part of your job at Relish?

A. The most interesting part of my job is the constant learning process around our product line. We are always growing our Invoice AI capabilities, and learning about what is in the development pipeline is a fantastic experience. I have never been able to have such a close relationship with a product team and I am excited to see the bright future ahead!

Q. Which is your favorite Relish App Solution and why?

A. Choosing just one is a tough ask, but it has to be Invoice AI. It’s easy to get the hang of and it has incredible capability. In college, I worked in an accounting department and had many different AP duties. If I had Invoice AI, my days would have been much more efficient and my job a lot easier. Its practicality becomes evident if you have ever had to sift through dozens of PDF invoices each day, which can become mind-numbing.

Q. If you could tell the world one thing about Relish, what would it be?

A. I want to tell the world that we are an incredibly tight-knit organization. Everybody here has been incredibly helpful and willing to go out of their way to assist me. Though I am relatively new to the organization, everyone has made an effort to get to know me and offer guidance. I never feel nervous to ask a question. This, combined with the wealth of industry knowledge here, means there is more than enough information to go around.

Q. Do you use relish as a condiment?

A. Coming from an avid baseball fan, I don’t think any hotdog would be complete without relish on it! It is the perfect condiment to enhance the flavor and experience of having a classic ballpark hotdog. A bit like our product lineup, enriches the experience of our customer’s enterprise solutions.
