The role:
We are currently seeking a skilled DevOps / Infrastructure Engineer to play a pivotal role in managing and evolving our cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring systems, and automation processes. What you’ll do:
- Own and manage CI/CD pipelines (Azure Pipelines, GitHub Actions, or similar), ensuring reliable and efficient build, test, and deployment workflows across all environments.
- Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure monitoring and alerting using tools such as AWS CloudWatch, Datadog, or equivalent. Configure and manage alert routing and escalation through incident management platforms (e.g., PagerDuty, Opsgenie, or similar).
- Set up and manage application-level observability including log aggregation, metrics collection, distributed tracing, and health dashboards for all production services.
- Respond to and triage infrastructure and application alarms, perform root cause analysis, and drive incident resolution to minimize downtime and service disruptions. Manage incident escalation workflows, ensure adherence to SLAs, and conduct postmortem reviews to prevent recurring issues.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools (using Python, Bash, or similar) to streamline operational tasks, deployments, and infrastructure management.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using IaaC tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Deploy and configure AWS services according to design specifications, ensuring high availability, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and secure cloud solutions.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure architectures, pipeline configurations, runbooks, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with security teams to implement and monitor security best practices across infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
- Propose and implement innovative solutions to improve system performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends related to DevOps, cloud computing, and infrastructure automation.
About you:
- Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure on AWS.
- Strong background in IaaC tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Azure Pipelines, GitHub Actions, or similar).
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Datadog).
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Bash, or similar languages).
- Strong understanding of networking and security principles in cloud environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure and application issues.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Experience working with Serverless Architectures.
- Experience with Azure infrastructure services (Azure VMs, App Services, Azure Networking, Azure Monitor).
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, ECS, EKS, or Kubernetes).
- AWS or Azure certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, AWS DevOps Engineer, Azure Administrator).

Salary offering: Base Salary
This salary range represents a good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of posting, and Relish may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
